Locally grown produce
At Elizabeth's Corner, we're committed to sustainable and regenerative farming practices. We use no chemicals. Our animals are raised in spacious and clean environments, with plenty of access to fresh air, sunshine and love. We believe we are stewards of our land and animals, and want to provide our community with the highest quality products.
Elizabeth's Corner, LLC is a small urban farm in Capitol Heights, Maryland. Alexis and Calvin run the farm, and their three children, two cats, and two dogs run them. Alexis runs the farm full-time and homeschools the children, while Calvin works full-time outside the house and part-time on the farm. Our interest in a homesteading lifestyle is what led us to farming. We realized that if we couldn't access quality food, our neighbors couldn't either. Our focus is on providing high-quality produce and eggs to our community, using sustainable and regenerative agricultural practices. We are stewards of the land, and as such, it is our responsibility to care for the land and its animals because what we do directly impacts soil health, water quality, and biodiversity. These are important to us because we are preserving Earth's most treasured resources for future generations while meeting current demands in our food desert. Our plans are much bigger than what we're doing right now, so we encourage you to follow us on social media and sign up for our email list to stay up-to-date on how Elizabeth's Corner is growing. Let's Grow!
Everything we grow here at Elizabeth's Corner is free from chemicals, and pesticides. Our chickens are given no hormones, fed a diet of organic soy-free feed, and fresh produce, and are allowed to free range, for grass and grubs.
We love to hear from you about how we can help! Email or call us, and we will get back to you soon.
